Inductee Trevor Knight Joins Tim Hortons Donut Fundraiser

Special Olympics Canada once again partnered with Tim Hortons to create a limited-edition Special Olympics Donut fundraiser. During this event, one hundred percent of the proceeds from the sales of this special donut go directly to local Special Olympics community programs, supporting thousands of athletes across Canada.

Trevor Knight, a 2024 Springwater Sports Heritage Hall of Fame Inductee and multi-sport Special Olympic athlete, participated in the Elmvale Tim Hortons Special Olympic Donut Fundraising event this past weekend. Trevor proudly displayed items of recognition for his many competitive sporting achievements. During the event, Trevor was joined by his outstanding support worker, Angela Kirton, who is a Springwater Sports Heritage Hall of Fame Alumnus and a strong supporter of the Hall of Fame.

The partnership between Tim Hortons and Special Olympics Canada is truly inspiring. The Special Olympics Donut not only raises funds for local community programs but also increases awareness about the incredible athletes across the country. It's heartwarming to see such dedication and support.

Springwater Sports Heritage is very proud to have Trevor as their first Special Olympic Inductee.
