Passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre at the age of 82.

2014 Athlete, Springwater Sports Heritage Hall of Fame

Sadly, Springwater Sports Heritage is recognizing the loss of one of its outstanding Inductees.  Corby Adams was an outstanding athlete and a committed supporter of the Springwater Sports Heritage.  His sporting résumé is lengthy and highlights his numerous athletic achievements.  Corby, understandably, was frequently referred to as an outstanding natural athlete.  Hockey and baseball are where he competed most often but Corby excelled at whatever he tried.  Corby had a long and successful sporting career during which he made numerous friendships.  He always was appreciated and respected by his teammates and competitors.  His instantly recognizable athletic ability and charming mannerism endeared him to his teammates and fans.  His support of the Minesing community, friends and family will be missed.  Corby’s memory will remain and be cherish for years to come.
