Scott Kirton Narrative
Scott's achievements at both the amateur and professional levels are reliable indicators of his outstanding hockey career. While his career is a source of personal pride it is also shared by his family and home community of Elmvale. Scott presently resides in Calgary, Alberta where he continues to be involved in the sport of hockey. He continues to contribute as an instructor at several hockey schools- the Fighting Sioux Hockey School, Minot Muskies Hockey School and Team Northwest Hockey School. Scott currently plays in two recreational Oil and Gas Leagues in Calgary. His team, the Rockets are eight time consecutive champions of the Heritage Hockey League. Scott is also involved in two yearly fundraising tournaments namely Hockey Cures Cancer and the Olympics Charity Hoockey Torrnament.
Scott works in the oil and gas sector of Calgary as a sales manager for CWC Energy Services. He is proud and honoured to be inducted into the Springwater Sports Heritage Hall of Fame.
