Percy Frankcom


Induction Award:

Percy, for innumerable years tirelessly served the sporting community as a coach, manager, executive, volunteer and sponsor of hockey, baseball and other sports and after retiring in 1959 began devoting his full energy to the Elmvale sports scene. In hockey, he coached the 1955-56 Juveniles to the first ever OMHA Championship for Elmvale. In fastball, he managed the Elmvale Merchants to back-to-back league championships in 1971-72. He also made the dream of lights at the ball park a reality. Percy significantly participated and generously contributed to other countless sporting facilities improvements and service clubs.
